“I will remember your small room, the feel of you, the light in the window, your records, your books, our morning coffee, our noons our nights, our bodies spilled together, sleeping, the tiny flowing currents, immediate and forever, your leg my leg, your arm my arm, your smile and the warmth of you who made me laugh again.”—Charles Bukowski
I have done nothing productive all day besides attend class (half-heartedly) and read a decent amount of pages in Wuthering Heights. Sad to say I have probably 30 hours of school work on top of my 40 hour "work" week. I will continue to discount my work and read until I fall into slumbers.
“And as to you Catherine, I have a mind to speak a few words now, while we are at it. I want you to be aware that I know you have treated me infernally—Infernally! Do you hear? And if you flatter yourself that I don’t perceive it, you are a fool; and if you think I can be consoled by sweet words, you are an idiot; and if you fancy I’ll suffer unrevenged, I’ll convince you of the contrary…..”—Heathcliff, Wuthering Heights, Emily Bronte
“One little song
Give me strength to the leave the sad and the wrong
Bury safely in the past where I’ve been living
Alive but unforgiving
Let me go, let me go, let me go, let me go”—The Avett Brothers, Souls Like the Wheels
